Job Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned and detail-focused QA Lead to manage and oversee the testing processes and team for our [software/hardware/enterprise solutions]. The ideal candidate will bring a strong expertise in quality assurance methodologies, outstanding leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement quality assurance strategies, processes, and best practices for the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Drive the adoption and improvement of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for QA matters, providing regular updates on testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Define key quality metrics, monitor performance, and generate comprehensive reports to drive informed decisions.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
