Job Overview: We are looking for a Database Administrator Who has experience in Microsoft SQL Server database backup and recovery, tuning, optimization, permissions, and other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs database administration tasks on Microsoft SQL servers.
- Review logs to proactively determine potential issues and areas for optimization.
- Assist with database backup & recovery.
- Database tuning and optimization.
- Manage user and application database security.
- Work with the Application Development team on SQL queries and optimization.
- Implement database-related changes in the production environment.
- Involved in logical and physical database design.
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tasks.
- Develop and manage SSIS packages.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL (preferably including SSIS)
- Prior industry experience in a financial services environment is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, business, or a related discipline.
