Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Business Analyst to join our Technology team. A successful candidate will be responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch and incremental improvements to our products and services. You'll work within a cross-functional team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Quality Analysts with a single focus on implementing scalable solutions that impact the Neonatal and Maternity population.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and produce effective, detailed documentation including:
- Functional/Non-functional Requirements
- Use Cases
- Process workflows and modelling
- Wireframes/Graphical User Interface markups in support of custom proprietary web and mobile applications
- Test Case Scripts
- Support Quality Assurance operations
- Contribute to QA Testing, System Integration Testing, and End-to-end testing of software products and sign off on User Story Acceptance Criteria
- Thoroughly analyze problem definition, requirements, and quality assurance analysis and development products (code and supporting design artefacts)
- Validate and verify software/system requirements are achieved.
- Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of features within products.
- Collaborates with Client Success, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Healthcare Economics, Payment Assurance & Validation, Information Technology, Finance, Medical Directors, Quality Performance and Sales to drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
- Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, and engineering.
- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refine priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment with an understanding of basic clinical terminology.
- Knowledge of IT and Agile processes as it relates to business requirements.
- Experience working in a professional environment with IT and clinically managed care concepts, payment integrity, and claims review environments is a plus.
- Efficiently collect, organize and analyze data.
- Thoroughly analyze and improve business processes.
- Consistently organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and related tools for building detailed documentation.
- Excellent listening, critical thinking, written and verbal skills.
- Work independently and within a team environment.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Utilization Management and/or Case Management a plus
- Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops a plus
