Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst with QA Experience

Overview:

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a crucial liaison between stakeholders and our ServiceNow development team, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into effective ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Conduct thorough interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and needs within the ServiceNow platform.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Facilitate clear and effective communication between business users and the development team.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
    • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements related to ServiceNow implementations.
    • Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories within the ServiceNow platform.
    • Create detailed process flows, use cases, and other relevant documentation.
  • Backlog Management:
    • Maintain and prioritize the ServiceNow development backlog.
    • Groom user stories with the development team to ensure clarity and feasibility.
    • Assign user stories to ServiceNow developers and track progress.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and execute test cases to validate that ServiceNow solutions meet business requirements.
    • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from stakeholders.
    • Identify and document defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • ServiceNow Expertise:
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and functionalities (e.g., ITSM, ITIL, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Certified in ServiceNow (Admin or Developer).

Preferred Skills:

  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development.
