Overview:
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a crucial liaison between stakeholders and our ServiceNow development team, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into effective ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Conduct thorough interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and needs within the ServiceNow platform.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between business users and the development team.
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements related to ServiceNow implementations.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories within the ServiceNow platform.
- Create detailed process flows, use cases, and other relevant documentation.
- Backlog Management:
- Maintain and prioritize the ServiceNow development backlog.
- Groom user stories with the development team to ensure clarity and feasibility.
- Assign user stories to ServiceNow developers and track progress.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test cases to validate that ServiceNow solutions meet business requirements.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Identify and document defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
- ServiceNow Expertise:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and functionalities (e.g., ITSM, ITIL, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Certified in ServiceNow (Admin or Developer).
Preferred Skills:
- ITIL certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow development.
